Beautiful three story main lobby atrium with an indoor waterfall and fish pond. Located on the south side of Shamian Island.

Many adoptive U.S. families use this hotel for their stay while processing their child's visa. Most families congregate in the River Garden Coffee Shop for breakfast since it is typically included in their hotel package. As they serve a buffet with a variety of Western and Asian foods, it is quite popular.

As with most five-star hotels, the restaurants and the room service are on the pricey side. However, there are many less expensive places to eat on the island within walking distance. Don't forget to try the White Swan Deli Cafe just outside the hotel. Pretty good food (though short on variety) and fresh baked snacks at very reasonable prices.
