What a Happy Anniversary! Went to the super-cool bookstore and ate, explored the Smithsonian (namely the Air & Space Museum; how much did that rule?), went by the Vietnam Memorial, ate at Georgia Brown's, went swing dancing at Glen Echo (of course) and shopped to our heart's content at Tyson's Corner. (thank you, D.C., for having a Juicy store). Such an awesome anniversary!!

Washington DC a huge city and District of Columbia is well known city among all the tourists. Everyone have a dream to visit this city because it is home of many large parks where tourists found biking, hiking, and more activities. Secondly, this city is capitol of United States which provides a lot of sightseeing which are historical and memorial sight. I also have a dream to visit this city and one day this dream became true when my boss give me offer to visit for attending a conference. So, I also take permission from my boss some days extra for visiting this city and after getting permission I went to this city. So, by taking permission I reserved my hotel and up down fare by air on the behalf of my office. For reservation of hotel I was searching cheap hotels on net so that they can understand I am doing misuse by getting permission and while searching on net a site meets with me which provides cheap washington dc hotels at discount offer. I reserved same hotel from this site which were available on other site. This site was looking new and for its popularity it was giving discount offer on reservation. On the first day, I leave my home town early morning and fly to this city by air and it takes four to five hours and it was also late one hour. As my flight entered to this city I saw skylines and amazing view of this city from flight which was so amazing. By seeing this city I was feeling very lucky to myself that form my office I opt for this conference. By leaving flight at international airport, I came outside and totally surprised by seeing this great city and was feeling very nervous. So, first of all I take breakfast and take some information from restaurant owner and then hire a taxi to reach hotel. By reaching to hotel I checked at reception and collect keys of my room, and like to take rest first because for giving better performance in conference I want some rest. So, after taking some rest, I take some refreshment, and then went outside hotel where I take fruits, juice, and some snacks. By taking snacks, I came back to hotel where I take review of my prepared presentation and at time of dinner I take my dinner and well prepared myself for next day with presentation. On the second day, I leave my bed and went to conference venue. This day was business cum sightseeing day because as I was going to venue I saw some sights from my car which was very nice. Our conference gone up to 7 hours long and it was very interesting and life experiences conference. In this conference, my presentation opts as best performance and everyone give me best wishes. After completion of my presentation, I came back to my hotel where I take some rest and then went outside where I take dinner with the enjoying of nightlife and contact for tour operator that can visit this city. On the third day of my trip, first of all I went to national Mall which was a distinctive park filled with monuments, memorial parks, and museums. All the sights which were available on this national park were very nice. By seeing this national park I went for other attractions of this city white house and Washington monument which were very nice buildings and the white house to which I see in photos was very nice. I saw it only from outside because no one has permission to enter into white house. This day I also enjoyed nightlife of this city which was very interesting and I enjoyed it in an open environment. This day of my trip was very nice all the sites to which them I see were most memorable and historical place. This day of trip was sightseeing day to which I take enjoy. On the fourth day, I went to Rock Creek Park which was very large and it was situated in the downtown of this city. At this park I take enjoy of hiking and biking which were my favorite adventures. In this city, so many parks were there which were very large and all the park were crowded to which them visitors were enjoying. By enjoying at this park I also visit other attractions like art museum, history museum, space, and holocaust museum. At the time of night I went to a club where I enjoyed nightlife. On the fifth day, I went to see national zoo which was one of the famous attraction and at this zoo a lot exciting ridings were there and in this zoo a lot of animal exhibits were there which were very nice. After exploring this zoo, I went to see some memorial destinations like Lincoln memorial and reflecting pool which was very nice attraction of this city. This day I went to some park where colorful and musical fountains were there. This day of trip was very nice and I also remembered my all days of this city. On last day, I went to market from where I take some good things and a pair of formal wear for my boss. After shopping I take my lunch, came back to hotel, packed luggage, and leave hotel with some colorful memories. After leaving hotel, I went to airport where I got my flight and fly to my native place with life changing moments of this city.

If you are seeing an event at Verizon Center, this is an ideal spot. The hotel is not cheap ($210/night) but is within walking distance to all of the attractions you see pictures of--it's a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes. We began at 6th street and wound up at 30th or so. It's also in Chinatown so the food is good. There was something wrong with the toilet in our room but we lived through it, lol. The elevator was not functioning properly on the way out. There is a nice Irish pub in the hotel and stays open for a late night snack.

Since I still feel like a tourist, I'm starting my driftr account with my new home in DC. Although I spend more time with my couch than I care to admit, there is always something to do in DC. I came from Philly where there is North, South, West and downtown. By comparison, the whole city seems like one big downtown area.

Ardeo is my favorite restaurant in DC. It is part of a group of five restaurants that are the best in the city. The decor and the food are top notch. This is classy dining and while there is a burger on the menu, if you want one, go somewhere else and don't take up quality table space!

The only knock against Ardeo is the parking situation on Connecticut Ave. Ardeo offers valet parking for a mere $5, but if you're trying to make more of an afternoon before the restaurant opens, you'll have to fend for yourself. But it's worth it!

My crab cake sat on one of the softest kaiser rolls I've ever had. That and fries with a side of cole slaw was more than enough for a nice, hearty lunch. My husband had the Italian sausage and couldn't finish it--it was a nice sized sandwich without looking too daunting. I couldn't see the sausage for all the cheese on top of it, lol--it looked good. You also get a dill pickle slice. The strawberry daiquiris were tasty, and you could also taste the liquor in it--this was no slouch frozen drink, lol! That, and a Corona ended up being about $40 with tip.

When I was a kid in Pennsylvania, DC was the classtrip of choice when I was in 5th Grade and 8th grade. There was years of build up to the year-ending trip and it never failed to deliver. So when the opportunity came to move here. I sold my house and left without question. So living in the nation's biggest tourist attraction your moves are many and varied. Better yet, there is the geek move and the pimp move. Both are a good time.

The geek move has to be the National Mall. It never grows old for me. The Mall is the museum-lined area between the Washington Monument and the Capital Building. I walk it when I'm bored. I walk it on dates. I walk it when family comes to visit. But if you're on a date, the National Arboretum (next to the capital building) is your geek move. Trust me, it works!

Ok, if you live in DC or just want to have a great date, this is the ultimate pimp move and it's all in one block. You start your date painting pottery at All Fired Up. They allow you to bring in wine and glasses and you just paint, talk, drink and have a good time. When you're done painting, you move four doors down to Ardeo. Ardeo is my favorite restaurant in DC. It is part of a group of five restaurants that are the best in the city. The decor and the food are top notch. This is classy dining and while there is a burger on the menu, if you want one, go somewhere else and don't take up quality table space! When you're done at Ardeo walk to the end of the block (3400 block of Connecticut Ave) and go down the stairs into Atomic Billiards. Great bar, great atmosphere and one of the best jukeboxes in the city!

If you can't seal the deal with this date, you didn't deserve it!!

By packing luggage with family we went to capital of United States. This family trip was so thanksgiving and memorable trip. All of us we enjoyed this trip very much. At this trip we were totally six members me, my wife, my two cute kids, and my loving mom & dad. We got this city air. By packing luggage before one day we fly to Washington dc early morning from our hometown. By taking a long break on way we reached to Washington dc late evening. After getting this city we settled ourselves in westin grand hotel located in North West and we reserved it online that was one of cheap hotels facilities among all cheap hotels in washington, dc. In this hotel we reserved two room one for us and anther for my loving mom and dad. On reservation of two rooms in this hotel we also got discount offer up to 60% and that’s was great decision for online hotel reservation. This hotel offer us all great facilities and late night that’s was our great decision that after driving and walking we went to restaurant for dinner which was located on the site of this hotel.
Not only this trip was stress free but also we also give one day extra to dc. Next day first of all we went to national mall which is a national park and two miles from white house and white house from our hotel was far away form half miles. We went to this region by metro. This mall was full of museums of historic sites which located at walking distance to each other. At this place we see white house, monument, Lincoln memorial, gallery of art, air and space museum, reflecting pool and top national attractions are here. Spending a full day here we came back to hotel.
Next day we went to Georgetown and northwest section that was the nearest location from hotel. This are was containing with great tourism sites, shopping and dinging. Here Woodley pack, rock Creek Park, and national zoo are famous attraction for tourism.
Next day we take park in national cherry blossom festival which was one of most beautiful and largest tourist driven festival in this city. In a theater we also watch a movie and enjoy nightlife of this city that’s was the great entertaining nightlife.
Next day that’s was our bonus day in this city. This day we travel around national mall where we left our some attractions and other attractions of this city. This day we take our entry to all famous museums and know the interesting history and culture of this city. By enjoying all of them all of us enjoyed very much especially our kids. By taking a thanks giving and beautiful days in this city we returned back to our hometown.

I'm a 20 year veteran of the US Air Force. I was against the war before it started. I'm sad for our country as this evil war has stained our flag. GW Bush is the worst president this country has ever had to endure - in my mind he is a criminal and should be imprisoned. I was proud to protest against the war at the White House and I will do so again until it is over. Vote for change, vote for Obama!
