Somehow ended up in Castro without a hotel room and this was the only place open. It smelled like pee, the elevator was older than I am, the door was falling off, and the bed felt like all box springs.

It wasn't as neat as we thought it would be since we somehow thought it included reserved parking spots, but after the initial expense of joining rentals were about the same price as a conventional place.

And whatever you do, ZipCar or not, beg / borrow / steal a convertible. I've decided that's a better way to see a city than any tour you could buy.
